The Fairhope Brewing Company is a labor of love embarked upon by five people with two goals: brewing great beer, and bringing it to the thirsty beer-drinkers of Lower Alabama. The first beers to be brewed are their three flagship labels: Fairhope 51 Pale Ale, Take the Causeway IPA and I Drink Therefore I Amber. The logo, labels, anniversary posters, as well as ads all feature a Hugh, the pelican as their brand mascot. (Pelican dressed accordingly to match each style of brew.)
